What a file can do, what a person does and what we do not move at all.
Yes, in three ways. We advise how to arrange the export from your current system to fit our template. We go through the import with you on a call. Or we do the whole migration for you: you give us the export or access, and we hand back a ready school for you to check. Tell us through the contact form which system you use.
With the automatic move, no. Before saving we compare every record with what the school already has. The same PESEL, the same email with name or the same tax ID is linked to the existing record. When only the name or the group name matches, we ask you: link, add separately or skip. Without a decision we skip such a record and list it in the summary. Names are compared exactly, so a typo is not recognised. A file import only adds rows, so there you watch for duplicates yourself or we do it together.
No. With the automatic move Cerium only reads the data, using access that you grant in the old system yourself and can revoke there at any time. We write and delete nothing there, and we delete the fetched preview after the move. With a file we work on a copy that you export yourself.
It depends on the route and the size of the school. The automatic move runs in the background: you can close the page and come back, and the result will be waiting in Settings. A file import takes as long as arranging the spreadsheet to fit the template. When we do it for you, we agree the date at the start.
With the automatic move, yes: teachers with an email address join the team together with group staffing. From a file, no: the team is then created in the panel, person by person. In both cases the server generates the password and emails it only when you send access yourself, and the school never sees it.
Up to 500 per file, in one transaction: the whole file goes in or nothing does, so an interrupted import never leaves half a register. A larger school loads several files. A row whose group or guardian could not be matched still goes in, and the screen tells you how many such cases there were.
No. We move students, guardians and groups, while attendance history, grades, topics and settlements stay in the old system for reference. There is no integration with Librus, Vulcan or SIO. How Cerium differs from a public-school register is described on the register page.
From the group series: weekdays, time and length, skipping the school's days off. Lessons from the previous system are not imported from a file.
The platform operator moves the school with a script that writes through the same routes as the panel, so limits and rules apply as if typed by hand. The team, students, guardians, companies, groups with staffing and members, future lessons, days off, rooms and open enquiries come over. Instalments, payments, lesson history and the content of other modules stay in the old system, and everyone gets an email with their new access.
