Students book themselves beta
The teacher sets a weekly window: day, hours, lesson length, mode and room. The student or parent clicks a free slot, and the booking is a lesson in the schedule and the register straight away.
BookingsSoftware for private music schools: one-to-one instrument lessons, small groups and theory, room schedule, syllabus, instrument rental, concerts and parent payments in one place.
This is how a student moves through a music school. Each step is a module that hands its data to the next, so nobody retypes anything.
A parent asks about piano lessons through the form on your website or from Facebook, and the enquiry lands in the pipeline with a stage, an owner and a next step.
A 1:1 lesson is a group with one student. The subject (“piano”, “guitar”, “music theory”) sits in the group name and tag, and the school picks the grade from a six-step scale.
The teacher sets a weekly window and the parent picks a free time. The booking is a lesson in the schedule and the register straight away.
Material laid out as stages and pieces in order, with “where we are” worked out from the lessons that took place.
The school lends a student a guitar or sheet music, sees how many are left in stock and records on return whether the item came back intact.
The teacher marks attendance, enters the topic and the syllabus stage, sets practice for the week and leaves a note for the next lesson.
A monthly fee, instalments or “per lesson” billing based on lessons not cancelled, with a payment link and an invoice through KSeF.
Attendance, grades by the school's own categories and the teacher's comment, frozen on the day it is sent and shared by link with the student and parents.
The end-of-year concert is a project with phases and tasks: the programme, rehearsals, the hall and invitations, each with a person and a deadline.
At the end of the course students get certificates from one template, numbered consecutively within the year and with a link to print.
An instrument teacher moves from room to room every hour. Everything they do around a lesson fits on a phone.
The day's lessons in order, with the room, the mode and the student or group.
One tap opens the lesson in the register.

You note what was played and point to the syllabus stage the lesson covered.

They see it in their account and get one combined notification, not a message after every click.
The panel runs in the phone's browser and is designed from a width of 390 px. An App Store and Google Play app with push notifications is in preparation.
Seven things a music school needs every day, which a spreadsheet and a calendar scatter across different places.
The teacher enters the hours they teach, and the student or parent picks a free slot themselves.

The teacher sets a weekly window: day, hours, lesson length, mode and room. The student or parent clicks a free slot, and the booking is a lesson in the schedule and the register straight away.
BookingsBefore a set number of hours the lesson disappears. After that it stays as “cancelled late”, and the student sees this before clicking.
BookingsA make-up lesson or an extra one before a concert is added with “Add lesson”, and a new series does not overwrite it.
GroupsAnother teacher takes over a single lesson for the day, and the schedule shows it on the teacher's and the room's lane.
ScheduleThe “per lesson” plan bills the month's lessons that were not cancelled, and the teacher's pay uses the lessons taught under their contract and rate card.
SettlementsLesson packages with an expiry date (say, ten lessons within three months) are not available today. Students pay with a monthly plan, instalments or per lesson taught.
One school, four points of view. The server enforces the boundary on every save, not a hidden button in the menu.
| Role | Sees | Changes |
|---|---|---|
| Management | The whole school: finance, room schedule, staff, rental, reports and every message thread. | Payment plans, staffing, syllabi, rooms, report and certificate templates, school settings. |
| Teacher | Their own students and groups, their syllabi and materials, and when covering, the lesson only within its window. | Attendance, topic, grades, homework and materials, but only for their own lessons. |
| Student | The week's plan, their own register, homework, materials, theory exercises and payments if they have no guardian. | Books a lesson, does exercises and pays online. |
| Guardian | Each child separately: attendance, grades, remarks, payments, reports and contracts. | Pays with the “Pay” button, books lessons for the child and writes to management and teachers. |
The “no” list is here on purpose: better to know before the demo than after the rollout.
Short answers, no overpromising. What is missing is listed alongside.
Yes. A 1:1 lesson is a group with one student, with the subject (“piano”, “violin”) in its name and tag. The school picks the grade from a six-step scale written as A1 to C2 and gives the steps its own meaning, for example the year of study.
The school sets how many hours before a lesson a cancellation has no consequences. Earlier, the lesson disappears from the schedule; later, it stays as “cancelled late”. A make-up lesson is added with “Add lesson”, and a new series will not overwrite it.
Yes. The rental module keeps each kind of item with a quantity (guitars, sheet music, music stands), lends it to a student, a teacher, a guardian or a company and records the return with a condition: returned, lost or damaged. Due-date reminders go out at the click of a button.
Yes. Parents have their own account with each child separately: attendance, grades, remarks, reports and payments with a “Pay” button (link or card via Stripe). Teacher remarks go to the parent only.
Yes. The schedule shows the day, week and month by teacher or by room, and rooms sit in the school's catalogue with their location. The system does not detect two lessons booked into one room today: you see them on the room's lane, but without a warning.
No. Lesson packages with an expiry date are not available today. The school bills with a monthly fee, instalments or a “per lesson” plan, which works out the amount from the month's lessons that were not cancelled.
14 days on your groups and instalments. No card, no strings.
