A class register for parents and students
Parents get an account from the school’s email and, once signed in, see their own children, each one separately: attendance, grades, remarks, homework, payments and messages. Students have a register of their own. Nothing to install: the panel works in the phone’s browser.
What parents see in the register
One account for all of a parent’s children at the school. Parents see what concerns their children and nothing beyond that.
An account from the school’s email
Reception sends access from the guardian’s row and the parent receives an email with sign-in details. Nobody at the school sees the password: parents change it in their Account and recover a lost one themselves.
Module: GuardiansEach child separately
On the Dashboard every child has a tile of their own with the week’s lessons and homework. One account covers siblings, including in different groups.
Module: GuardiansThe child’s register
Attendance with minutes late and a note, grades with averages, remarks and homework with its status, from all of the child’s groups on one screen.
Module: JournalA notification and one email
A new grade, remark or absence shows up as a notification in the panel. By email, one “What’s new in the register” message arrives once the teacher has finished, not one after every click.
Module: JournalChildren’s payments
Each child’s charges, instalment plans and payments. When the school accepts online payments, the “Pay” button opens a Stripe payment.
Module: FinanceReports and contracts
Reports on the child with the teacher’s comment, and contracts where the parent or the child is a party, are in the panel and also arrive as a link by email.
Module: StudentsMessages
Parents write to management, reception and the teachers who teach their children. The reply waits in the inbox, and the email only says there is a new message.
Module: MessagesStudents have their own register
A student with an account has their own register, weekly plan, materials, exercises marked as soon as they finish, vocabulary reviews and booking of one-to-one lessons.
Module: ExercisesA parent’s week
Parents do not sign in every day. The panel gets in touch when something in the register concerns their child.

An email from the school
Reception sends access with one click and the parent gets an email with sign-in details.
-
First sign-in
From the phone, in the browser. In the Account they change the password, choose the language and switch emails off if they do not want them.
-
Dashboard with the children
Zosia and Michał have separate tiles with the week’s lessons and homework, each leading to that child’s register.
-
An absence
The teacher marks Michał absent. The parent sees a notification in the panel, and the digest email arrives after fifteen quiet minutes, between 8:00 and 20:00.
-
An instalment
Before the due date an email about the instalment arrives with a way to pay. In the panel the same “Pay” sits next to the charge.
-
A question for the teacher
A question about overdue homework goes to the group’s teacher in Messages, and the reply waits in the inbox.
The panel works in the phone’s browser and is designed from a 390 px width up. There is no App Store or Google Play app today; one is in preparation.
What parents see, and what they do not
The server holds the line: parents get only their own children’s data, and a student with a guardian sees less than the parent.
What parents see
- Attendance, lateness and attendance notes
- Grades, averages and remarks
- Homework with due date and status
- Each child’s lessons for the week
- Charges, instalment plans and payments
- The child’s reports and contracts
- Materials from teachers
What parents and students do not see
- Other students or the group’s roster
- Teachers’ notes on the group or lesson observations
- The name of another payer: a company or the other guardian
- Other guardians of their child
- A student with a guardian: remarks about themselves or money
- Text messages: notifications come in the panel and by email
- An App Store or Google Play app
Who sees what
Teachers, management, students and parents look at the same register, but each sees their own part. The server enforces the boundary on every save, not a hidden button in the menu.
| Role | Sees | Changes |
|---|---|---|
| Parent | Each of their children separately: lessons, attendance, grades, remarks, homework, materials, payments, reports and contracts. | Pays with the “Pay” button, books and cancels one-to-one lessons for the child, and writes to management, reception and the children’s teachers. |
| Student with a guardian | Their own register without remarks, weekly plan, homework, materials, exercises and vocabulary. No money, because the guardian pays, and reports arrive as a link by email. | Does exercises, reviews vocabulary, books one-to-one lessons and writes to the teachers of their groups. |
| Adult student | A student with no guardian assigned sees the same, plus remarks about themselves and payments: charges, instalment plans and “Pay”. | Pays online for charges where the school has not named another payer, and gets the register digest email. |
| Paying company | No account in the panel. It is the payer named on the plan, so instalment emails go to its address. | Pays from the link in the email or by bank transfer to the school’s account. A company’s instalment is never charged to a saved card. |
Questions about the register
Short answers, no overpromising. What the register does not do is listed alongside.
- No text messages: notifications come in the panel and by email.
- No app in the stores: the panel works in the phone’s browser.
- No absence notes as a document: parents write to the teacher in Messages.
No. The panel works in the browser on a phone or computer; the address and the details from the school’s email are all it takes. An App Store and Google Play app is in preparation.
Yes. A grade is in the child’s register as soon as it is saved and shows up as a notification in the panel. The digest email comes once the teacher has finished, one for several grades rather than one per grade.
Not if the school has assigned them a guardian: remarks about the student then go to the parent only, with no notification or email to the child. A student without a guardian, usually an adult, sees them in their own register.
Yes, when the school accepts online payments through Stripe. The “Pay” button sits next to charges paid by the parent or the child, while a charge paid by a company or the other guardian is read-only.
One account is enough: the school links the parent to each child and the Dashboard shows each one separately. A child can have several guardians, so both parents get accounts of their own.
Yes, in Messages: to the teachers who teach their children, and to management and reception. They cannot write to other parents or students.
More about the class register
The same register described from the side of the teacher, the parent, attendance, and a comparison with a state school register.
An electronic class register for language schools
Teachers keep the register after their own lessons: attendance, the topic with its syllabus unit, grades and homework, from a phone too. Students and parents see their entries in their own accounts. The register is part of the school system, next to the timetable and payments, at no extra charge.
A class register built for the teacher
The teacher opens the register and sees their own groups, each with its next lesson, so there is nothing to hunt for. Attendance, topic, grades and homework go in after their own lessons, from a phone browser. A group they cover arrives 14 days before the cover and stays 7 days after.
Attendance, grades and lesson topics in one grid
The attendance register in Cerium is a student × lesson grid: four attendance states with lateness in minutes and a note, grades by category on the school’s own scale, and a topic for every lesson. The server works out attendance and averages with one formula, so the Journal, the student’s details and the parent report all show the same numbers.
A language school register is not a school e-register
A language school runs groups instead of classes, levels instead of year groups and enrolment all year round. It teaches children and adults, gets paid by parents, learners and companies, and its teachers work on contracts. A school e-register knows none of this. A language school register is one part of a system that runs all of it.
